All flights were suspended at a major airport after a startling incident in which a plane breached its perimeter.

Emergency responders swiftly arrived at Chicago Executive Airport when a plane crashed through a fence, leading to striking images of the aircraft entangled in twisted metal.

Passengers at the bustling airport, which handles numerous flights daily, turned to social media to express frustration over delays.

Recent social media updates revealed that the aircraft involved was identified as a Gulfstream G150 and had overrun Runway 34.

Despite the plane forcefully breaking through the airport boundary, there have been no reports of any injuries from the crash.

According to local news outlet NBC5, flights are currently restricted from taking off or landing at the airport following the day’s incident.

Both commercial and private aircraft, including those carrying journalists covering the event, are prohibited from operating near the airport. A segment of Hintz Road, where the plane nearly reached after the crash, has been closed between South Wolf Road and South Milwaukee Avenue.

The plane narrowly missed reaching a road adjacent to the airport perimeter when it breached the boundary earlier today.

Reports from local media suggest that the small plane may have overshot the runway before colliding with the fence where it is currently stuck.

Dramatic footage captured at the airport depicts the small jet embedded in the perimeter fence.

In Wheeling, a plane crashed through the fence onto Hintz Rd at the north end of Chicago Executive Airport. Authorities and scanner reports confirm no injuries. Eastbound Hintz Rd is closed at Wolf, causing delays in departures and landings.
