Vicky Pattison, a prominent figure on “Strictly Come Dancing,” recently shared a glimpse into her rehearsals, admitting to feeling inadequate amidst reports of ‘imposter syndrome.’ Concerns have been raised by a close source that this self-doubt may impact her chances of winning the coveted glitterball trophy.

Following her most recent performance with professional dancer Kai Widdrington, Vicky, 37, achieved her highest score yet and received encouraging feedback from lead judge Shirley Ballas, who suggested she could potentially reach the final round.

In a video posted on her Instagram ahead of the results show, Vicky struggled to grasp the choreography for her upcoming dance routine, candidly remarking, “I’m rubbish.” Sources close to her revealed her ongoing battle with imposter syndrome, stemming from a lack of confidence in her abilities despite landing significant opportunities like joining the cast of Strictly.

The source disclosed Vicky’s internal struggles, tracing back to her post-jungle success and the overwhelming pressure of transitioning to new high-profile roles, such as her stint on “Loose Women.” This inner conflict has hindered her belief in her own capabilities behind the scenes.

Recent revelations from Vicky highlighted her feelings of being ‘overwhelmed’ during rehearsals, emphasizing her discomfort in an environment where she perceives herself as less physically prepared compared to the seasoned professionals around her.

Although Vicky maintains a regular fitness routine, she expressed concerns about her cardio abilities affecting her dance performance, acknowledging the superior fitness levels of her competitors.

Despite facing criticism from the judges in her last appearance, Vicky and Kai escaped elimination as Scottish broadcaster Ross King bid farewell to the show after being the second-lowest-scoring contestant in Strictly Come Dancing history.

Ross, partnered with dancer Jowita Przystał, followed Thomas Skinner’s departure last week, marking the end of his journey on the dance competition.
