Israel has announced the resumption of enforcing the ceasefire following alleged violations by Hamas. The Israeli military reported two soldiers killed and three wounded in an incident in Rafah. Israel has accused Hamas of breaching the ceasefire deal, leading to the halting of humanitarian aid supplies into Gaza and launching retaliatory airstrikes in southern Gaza.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a series of air strikes, targeting Hamas for allegedly firing at IDF troops in Rafah. In response, the IDF struck numerous Hamas targets, including weapons facilities and underground structures. Hamas, on the other hand, accused Israel of fabricating reasons to justify its actions.

The fragile ceasefire in Gaza faced a significant test as Israeli forces launched deadly strikes in response to alleged Hamas violations. The transfer of aid into Gaza was temporarily halted, but later resumed following the ceasefire enforcement. However, clashes and violent incidents led to the cancellation of a football game between Hapoel and Maccabi, resulting in arrests and injuries.

In New York City, thousands of ultra-Orthodox Jews protested near the Israeli consulate over mandatory military enlistment for their community, a contentious issue in Israel. Meanwhile, US envoys are set to arrive in Israel to discuss ceasefire plans for Gaza.

Both Israel and Hamas have accused each other of violating the ceasefire, resulting in Israeli airstrikes killing civilians in Gaza. The situation remains tense, with fears of escalating violence. Israel has warned of continued strikes if Hamas breaches the ceasefire, emphasizing the severity of their response.

The conflict has left a devastating toll with numerous casualties on both sides, and the situation remains volatile as efforts continue to uphold the ceasefire agreement amidst ongoing hostilities.
