Tesco has announced a special offer for Clubcard members in December, where they will receive two points for every £1 spent on gift cards. This promotion is valid throughout the month and applies to all third-party gift cards purchased at Tesco stores.
This means that customers will earn double points when purchasing any gift card from Tesco, not just Tesco-branded ones. The additional points will be automatically credited to their Clubcard account.
Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, highlighted the benefits of this promotion, stating that it provides a great opportunity to give loved ones a gift they will appreciate while also receiving rewards in return.
Tesco currently boasts approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various transactions. Clubcard points are earned for every £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, for every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations, for Tesco Mobile expenses, and for Tesco credit card transactions.
Moreover, Clubcard Pay+ debit card users also receive points for their spending. Accumulated points can be redeemed for Clubcard vouchers, with a minimum of 150 points required for a £1.50 voucher to use at Tesco.
