Sky recently announced changes to its TV channel lineup, and the update is imminent. Sky Showcase and Sky Max will stop broadcasting on February 24, but a beloved channel, Sky One, will make a comeback to replace them. Subscribers can look forward to a range of comedy and entertainment programs on Sky One, including new shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby. Additionally, popular programs like Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted will also be available.

Sky One will be the exclusive home of Saturday Night Live UK, scheduled to debut later this year. Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed excitement about the channel’s relaunch, emphasizing its diverse content offerings, which will feature both new and returning shows. Sky One will be accessible on channel 106 starting February 24.

In addition to introducing the new channel, Sky is set to roll out a new plan called Ultimate TV for £24 per month. This plan will grant customers access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app, along with over 130 premium channels such as Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime. Moreover, Sky Cinema users will benefit from a dedicated Disney movie channel directly integrated into the TV guide, allowing them to enjoy Hollywood hits without the need for the Disney+ app.

The Ultimate TV plan includes various services, like Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads (from March), HBO Max Basic with Ads (from March 26th), and Hayu (available from July with select shows accessible from March). It also offers over 130 channels from Sky.
