The company that owns Revolution bars has announced a deadline for bids next week as part of its sale process. The Revel Collective, which operates 62 venues under various brands including Revolution, Revolucion de Cuba, and Peach Pubs, decided to sell in October 2025 due to declining sales.

According to a report by Sky News, potential bidders must submit offers by January 9, with FTI Consulting overseeing the formal sale proceedings. Neos Hospitality has shown interest in acquiring some of The Revel Collective’s sites, although it is uncertain if they will make a bid.

The Mirror reached out to The Revel Collective, formerly known as Revolution Bars, for comment. The company initiated a sales process in April 2024 but abandoned it after rejecting an offer from Nightcap. It closed approximately 36 sites in 2024 as part of a restructuring plan approved by the High Court.

In an update in October 2025, company executives cited challenging economic conditions and government interventions as factors hindering their progress post-restructuring. Revenue fell by 7.4% to £26.3 million in the three months leading up to September, primarily driven by a 10.5% decline in like-for-like bar sales.

Luke Johnson, the former Pizza Express executive, took over as chairman of The Revel Collective in September after Keith Edelman’s retirement. Johnson expressed interest in acquiring established companies and niche businesses to potentially lead the market.
