Apple has introduced the new iPhone 17e, offering significant upgrades at an affordable price point. Priced at £599, this device features a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, a durable design, and an impressive single-lens camera. Notably, it is £200 cheaper than Apple’s flagship iPhone.
Samsung has also unveiled its latest models, the A57 and A37, starting at just £399. While these phones may not match the performance and charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they boast a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, providing smoother scrolling and gameplay compared to the 60Hz display on the iPhone 17e.
The Galaxy A57 and A37 come equipped with large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance. Samsung has integrated various smart features into these devices, such as Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and advanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions.
Enhancing user experience, Samsung has introduced enhanced Voice Transcription in the Voice Recorder app, allowing for quick transcription and translation of recordings. The company also promises long-term support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, guaranteeing up to six generations of Android OS updates and security patches for six years.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th. The Galaxy A57 5G will be priced at £529 for the 256GB variant, while the Galaxy A37 5G will start at £399 for the 128GB version. The Galaxy A57 5G will be offered in various colors, including Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
