Katie Price recently shared her concerns about cancer, more than two decades after her initial battle with the disease. The 47-year-old former model is currently undergoing medical tests due to recurring pain in her finger, the same finger where she previously had cancer.
Back in 1998, Katie was diagnosed with cancer and now, upon experiencing familiar symptoms, she is worried once again. During a podcast with her sister Sophie, Katie revealed that she is undergoing blood tests after discovering a low blood platelet count, which may explain her recent weight loss.
Expressing her fatigue and lack of energy, Katie mentioned the possibility of needing a blood transfusion to increase her platelet levels. Reflecting on her past encounter with cancer in 2002 while pregnant with her eldest son, Harvey, she described the rare soft tissue cancer she had on her finger, which required surgical removal and monitoring for six years until she was cleared.
Currently, Katie noticed a similar situation on her finger and is getting it examined to rule out any serious issues. Despite her health concerns, she remains optimistic and focused, especially as she prepares to release a new song in collaboration with a former X Factor contestant, after her 2017 track unexpectedly topped the iTunes charts.
With hopes for positive results, Katie is determined to stay positive amidst the uncertainty surrounding her health.
