Virgin Media is currently running a 10-day flash sale offering free smart TVs. The promotion, launched on May 18, allows customers to receive a complimentary £250 LG Smart TV upon signing up for one of four Virgin TV and broadband packages. These packages include numerous channels, free Netflix, and the choice to add Sky Sports and Cinema coverage. Customers have the option to select either a 43” LG Ultra HD smart TV valued at £249.99 or a £125 bill credit after availing the offer. To be eligible, customers must claim the deal by 11.59 pm on May 27.

Virgin’s TV packages come with over 200 channels and a free Netflix subscription. The Cinema bundle, priced at £44.99, provides access to full Sky Cinema and 362Mbps fibre broadband. Sports enthusiasts may prefer the Sport bundle at £54.99, which includes full Sky Sports coverage instead of Sky Cinema. Customers can combine both packages with the Sport + Cinema bundle at £64.99, boosting broadband speed to 512Mbps. The premium Max Volt bundle at £76.99 offers more than 230 TV channels, including Sky Cinema and Sky Sports, along with Netflix, 1,130Mbps broadband, and an unlimited O2 SIM.

In addition, Virgin Media is offering a free 43″ LG smart TV or £125 bill credit to customers who switch to their Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt TV bundles. The company has introduced the One Touch Switch scheme for new customers, streamlining the switching process by handling communication with the previous provider.

Customers should be aware of Virgin’s annual price increase of £4 each April when committing to the 24-month contracts. Meanwhile, Sky is running a competitive sale ahead of the World Cup, reducing prices on their Glass smart TVs. The Sky Glass Air model now starts at £4.50 per month, while the higher-end Sky Glass Gen 2 begins at £11. Amazon has also unveiled its revamped Fire TV range and introduced the Ember Artline model, offering substantial discounts to compete with Samsung’s The Frame TV.

Reviews from Virgin Media customers highlight the brand’s fast broadband speeds and value for money. Positive feedback commends the seamless installation process, wide channel selection, and intuitive operation of the TV packages. While most customers praise the experience, some have reported minor issues with registration. Overall, customers have expressed satisfaction with their decision to switch to Virgin Media for its ease of use, channel variety, broadband speed, and competitive pricing.
