Arsenal is currently leading the Premier League table in October, making them strong contenders for the title. Their main rivals, Liverpool and Manchester City, are struggling, giving Arsenal a good chance to compete until the end of the season.

After finishing as runners-up in the past three seasons, Arsenal faced questions about their ability to secure the title. Last season, they trailed Liverpool by 10 points, with the Reds clinching the title early.

However, Arsenal has made significant improvements to their squad under manager Mikel Arteta. They addressed their weaknesses by adding depth and signing key players, including a striker and midfield reinforcements.

Despite facing some injuries to key players like Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus last season, Arsenal has invested £267 million to strengthen their squad. The additions of Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard, and Martin Zubimendi have bolstered their lineup.

While Arsenal may not have spent the most in the transfer market, they have made strategic investments to address their needs. While it’s premature to declare them as clear favorites for the title, they are in a favorable position to compete strongly.

Arteta has reinforced the squad with new signings like Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie to provide options in case of injuries. The team is determined not to use injuries as an excuse and aims to manage their squad effectively to challenge for multiple honors.

Midfielder Martin Zubimendi highlighted the squad’s determination to avoid a repeat of last season’s setbacks due to injuries. The club’s emphasis on providing depth in every position indicates their commitment to compete at the highest level.

As the season progresses, Arsenal will need to prove their ability to sustain a title challenge and manage their squad effectively. Any shortcomings will raise questions about Arteta’s leadership, requiring the team to find alternative ways to excel and achieve success.
