Sophie Turner has reportedly started a new relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin after parting ways with her aristocratic boyfriend Peregrine Pearson. The Game Of Thrones actress was spotted on a casual outing with the musician following the end of her two-year romance with Peregrine.
Chris, aged 48, has been flying solo for a few months since his eight-year bond with Dakota Johnson, 35, came to a close in June, marking the end of their engagement. Sophie, now 29, and Peregrine had been in an on-and-off situation throughout the summer before officially calling it quits following a prominent wedding event in late September.
Reports indicate that during the mentioned wedding, Sophie and Peregrine were observed engaging in heated discussions and intimate moments on the dance floor. However, Sophie seemed unfazed by the split as she was reportedly spotted on a date with Chris just a week later.
Over the summer, Chris spent time in London due to the band’s performance schedule at Wembley stadium for their Music Of The Spheres tour. On the other hand, sources disclosed that Peregrine is also moving on and was recently seen hand in hand with a tall blonde at a London nightclub.
Allegedly, Sophie was active on the celebrity dating app Raya in August, and shortly after, she briefly rekindled things with Peregrine in September. Her Raya profile showcased nine photos, including snapshots of her holiday adventures and dancing at her hotel.
Her Raya interests included “music, pasta, movies, family, sun, and friends.” Sophie’s relationship with Peregrine was first confirmed in December 2023, shortly after her four-year marriage to Joe Jonas, 36, came to an end. Sophie and Joe tied the knot in 2019 and have two daughters together, Willa, four, and Delphine, two. Their divorce was finalized in September 2024, just over a year after Joe initiated the process.
In a similar timeline, Chris and Dakota started dating in 2017 post his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares two children, Apple, 21, and Moses, 19. Despite getting engaged, Chris and Dakota officially split in June, with sources revealing that their relationship had been on the rocks for a while before they made it official.
According to insiders, Dakota’s strong emotions for Chris and his children kept them hanging on, but eventually, the little issues added up, leading to the realization that they were not right for each other anymore.
