The Toronto Raptors are set to commence the upcoming NBA season at home, marking their 14th home opener in the last 15 years. The NBA revealed the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, with the Raptors tipping off on October 21 against the Chicago team at Scotiabank Arena. Following this, Toronto will hit the road for their first away game against Washington two days later.
Among the notable matchups at home, the Raptors will face the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, in back-to-back games on November 15 and 17. Additionally, they are scheduled to host Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10 and Canadian standout Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10.
January will be the busiest month for the Raptors, playing a total of 17 games, including a six-game stretch at home. The team will also face a demanding schedule of 15 back-to-back games this season, with seven of them not requiring travel. The NBA announced 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games, leaving two games to be scheduled after the in-season NBA Cup tournament group play.
Despite the exciting lineup, the Raptors will not be part of the coveted Christmas Day games this season. The team last played on December 25 in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
