Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone 17e, following last year’s iPhone 16e model. Priced at £599, the iPhone 17e is more budget-friendly compared to its higher-tier siblings, the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro, by over £200 and £500, respectively. It now comes with a standard 256GB storage capacity, a significant upgrade from its predecessor.

Featuring the new A19 chip for enhanced performance and the latest C1X cellular modem for faster speeds, the iPhone 17e promises improved processing power and quicker connectivity. Its 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display provides vibrant visuals and is protected by durable Ceramic Shield glass. The addition of MagSafe enables faster wireless charging and easy attachment of compatible accessories.

Camera enthusiasts will appreciate the 48MP Fusion camera of the iPhone 17e, which offers advanced photography capabilities, including support for 4K video recording with Dolby Vision. Safety features like Emergency SOS via satellite and Crash Detection further enhance the user experience.

Available in black, white, and a new soft pink finish, the iPhone 17e caters to a variety of preferences. Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, Kaiann Drance, highlighted the device’s exceptional value, combining powerful features with a competitive price point. With a focus on performance, storage, camera quality, and durability, the iPhone 17e is positioned as a long-term investment for users.
