Carey Price is set to receive recognition at the Bell Centre, where he has spent his entire NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens announced that Price will return to the Bell Centre on November 10 to celebrate his upcoming induction into the Hall of Fame, which is scheduled for the day before.
With this induction, Price will join the prestigious list of 62 members of the organization who have been honored in the Hall of Fame. He will also be added to the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a special recognition reserved for former players who have achieved significant success in the world of hockey.
Having played as a goaltender for the Canadiens for his entire 15-year career, Price holds the franchise record for games played and victories. Over the course of 712 games, he maintained an impressive 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.
The celebration of Price’s accomplishments will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild. Throughout his career, Price has been recognized as a seven-time all-star and was selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft.
The Canadiens will kick off their pre-season on September 19, with the regular season commencing on September 29 in a match against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
