Jeffrey Epstein has admitted to a journalist that the controversial photograph featuring the Duke of York and Virginia Giuffre is authentic. The photograph, taken by Epstein on a disposable camera, had faced allegations of being doctored, but Epstein’s acknowledgment to a reporter has put those doubts to rest.

In an email exchange that recently came to light, Epstein confirmed that Virginia was indeed on his plane and had her picture taken with Prince Andrew, similar to many of his employees. The leaked emails from 2011 coincide with the time when Andrew and Virginia posed for the photo when she was 17 years old. Despite Virginia’s later claims of a sexual encounter with Andrew, the prince has strongly denied these allegations.

Virginia, who tragically passed away in April, recounted how Epstein took the photograph before a night out with socialite Ghislaine Maxwell. The revelation of the genuine photograph and the leaked emails have dealt a severe blow to Andrew, who recently lost his royal titles amidst ongoing controversies.

Recently unsealed documents from Epstein’s estate, including the email confirming the photograph’s authenticity, shed light on a 2011 exchange involving Andrew, Epstein, and Maxwell. The correspondence reveals Andrew’s plea to clear his name from any association with Epstein. Additionally, there are discussions about a potential name change for Andrew, following a request from the late Queen to include a hyphen in his surname as per royal tradition.

The new information has further complicated the already tumultuous situation surrounding Andrew, who remains distanced from royal duties and life.
