Expressing his emotions about the upcoming arrival, Freddy mentioned feeling a mix of sentiments but overall excitement. He stated to Closer that becoming a young father was something he had always envisioned, despite the surprise timing of the news. Reflecting on his past actions, Freddy admitted to some recklessness but expressed contentment with the impending fatherhood role.
Recent tensions arose in Freddy’s relationship with his well-known father due to a legal conflict involving his grandmother, Jackiey Budden. Jackiey responded critically to Freddy’s claims regarding her influence on his early exposure to drugs, emphasizing that she was not involved in that aspect of his life.
Freddy disclosed that he is currently without a permanent residence, opting for a more transient lifestyle, staying with friends and enjoying the flexibility it offers. In an interview, he mentioned plans to pay tribute to his late mother by naming the baby Jade if it is a girl. Freddy’s brother, Bobby, expressed enthusiasm about becoming an uncle.
Speaking to The Sun, Bobby highlighted the unifying effect the baby is expected to have on the family. He emphasized the supportive role his father plays and his hopes for a collective effort in raising the newborn.
