Liverpool received a significant boost as Ryan Gravenberch declared himself fit for their upcoming crucial match against Aston Villa. The Dutch midfielder had been out of action for the last three games due to an ankle injury sustained in a match against Manchester United.

The injury occurred during a challenge with Bryan Mbuemo early in the second half, leading Gravenberch to be substituted shortly after. He missed Liverpool’s victory over Eintracht Frankfurt and subsequent defeats to Brentford and Crystal Palace.

Manager Arne Slot confirmed that Gravenberch rejoined team training on Thursday and could feature against Villa. Gravenberch, after training on Friday, expressed confidence in his readiness for the match and his eagerness to return to the field.

With injuries affecting other players like Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister, Gravenberch’s availability is crucial for Liverpool as they aim to reverse their recent poor form. The midfielder emphasized the importance of unity and focusing on the upcoming game against Villa, recognizing the challenges but expressing optimism about the team’s chances of success.

Sky has also announced a price reduction for its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle, offering more than 1,400 live matches, including at least 215 Premier League games next season.
