TV personality Katie Price has made comments alluding to the rape charges against her former spouse, Kieran Hayler. Hayler, a personal trainer, faces allegations of raping a 13-year-old girl. The reported incidents align with the period when he was still married to Price. Price, a former glamour model, is presently on a UK tour with her friend Kerry Katona, openly discussing her life experiences and relationships during their performances.

At a recent show at the Clapham Grand, Price delivered a cryptic speech hinting at the news of her ex-husband’s charges. She touched upon her own struggles and concerns regarding women’s safety today, hinting at personal experiences without explicitly stating details. Sussex Police recently confirmed that Hayler has been charged with rape and sexual assault against a minor, with the alleged offenses occurring between June and October 2016.

During this time frame, Hayler was still married to Price, although they eventually divorced in 2021 after separating in 2018. Hayler, 38, residing in Northchapel, West Sussex, is facing three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. He is currently under investigation and is scheduled to appear before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on November 19. The victim, a minor, is receiving support from specialized officers as the investigation continues.

Hayler’s legal representative has stated that he vehemently denies all accusations and is cooperating fully with the authorities. He remains optimistic about clearing his name through the legal process. In light of the sensitive subject matter, support services such as Childline and the NSPCC Helpline are available for individuals affected by similar situations. Victims of sexual assault can also seek assistance through resources like www.rapecrisis.org.uk or the national helpline at 0808 802 9999.
