A star from the reality show “Married At First Sight UK” was hospitalized after sharing a concerning photo from her bed. Marilyse Corrigan, a participant on E4’s dating show, found herself in the hospital hooked up to medical equipment and a drip. Her health scare occurred while en route to a showbiz event in Liverpool.
Marilyse disclosed her situation, revealing that what was initially suspected as a kidney infection turned out to be a burst appendix upon a CT scan. Urgent surgery was needed, and she expressed frustration at the delay in receiving treatment at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
The television personality, known for her appearance on the dating show with former soldier Franky Spencer, had also recently faced personal challenges. She shared being “dumped by text” after a brief, intense romance with an undisclosed individual last summer.
Following her separation from Franky, Marilyse briefly dated another “Married At First Sight” co-star, Matt Murray, but that relationship also ended after six months. Marilyse explained that the experience felt overwhelming, leading to the decision to end things with Matt.
In response to Marilyse’s statements, Matt expressed a desire to move past the situation and emphasized his commitment to personal growth. Despite differing perspectives on their relationship, he conveyed well wishes towards Marilyse.
