A young father, described as “kind” and “hardworking” by his family, has tragically passed away following an assault in a Wolverhampton car park. Navpreet Singh, 26, was taken to the hospital in the early hours of Wednesday after the incident at a car park on Dudley Road in Blakenhall. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries around 2.10am, as confirmed by West Midlands Police.

On Friday, three individuals were arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the case. One 20-year-old man remains in custody, while two others, aged 23 and 34, have been released on bail pending further investigation, according to the authorities.

In a statement released on Saturday, the family of the deceased expressed their profound grief over the loss. They described Navpreet as a loving husband, dedicated father, brother, and son eagerly awaiting the arrival of his second child. His wife is devastated by the loss of her beloved partner, with whom she was building a promising future. The sisters of the deceased are also mourning the loss of their dear brother, emphasizing his kind, hardworking, and caring nature which endeared him to all who knew him. The family has requested privacy as they mourn the loss of their cherished family member.
