A well-known social media influencer tragically passed away shortly after giving birth to her first child at home, as confirmed by her grieving husband. Stacey Hatfield, recognized for advocating a ‘low tox’ lifestyle and sharing natural recipes with her 17,200 followers, founded Natural Spoonfuls to address her own health challenges, including digestive issues, skin problems, low energy, and weak immunity.

On September 29, the 30-year-old experienced a sudden death due to an extremely rare complication following the home birth of her son. Despite immediate transport to the hospital, medical efforts were unsuccessful. Stacey was able to briefly embrace her newborn, Axel, before her untimely demise, leaving family members to attribute her passing to childbirth complications.

Nathan Warnecke, Stacey’s husband, expressed his sorrow on Instagram, highlighting her lifelong aspiration of parenthood. Recalling their recent wedding in the Maldives as his happiest moment, Nathan described Stacey as his guiding light and lamented her absence, noting she cherished a simple lifestyle, loved nature, and enjoyed traveling.

Acknowledging Stacey’s ultimate dream of motherhood, Nathan emphasized her profound love for their son, Axel, and the joy she found in pregnancy. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Nathan, a single father and professional surveyor, who faces the daunting task of caring for Axel alone while processing the loss of his wife. The fundraiser has raised £13,150 towards its £24,000 goal, aiming to cover funeral expenses, baby supplies, household bills, and provide Nathan with time off to cope with the tragedy and his new role as a single parent.

In a heartfelt farewell, Nathan expressed gratitude for their life together and expressed hope for a reunion in the future.
