Donald Trump is forming a coalition of antagonists with the aim of undermining the authority of the United Nations, with assistance from Tony Blair.

Trump’s decision to establish this group, reminiscent of a budget version of SPECTRE, can be linked to two key incidents. The first was the Nobel committee’s choice in 2009 to award the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama, a figure Trump vehemently dislikes. The pursuit of his own Nobel Prize drove him to involve himself in resolving conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza.

Initially focused on promoting peace and facilitating Gaza’s reconstruction, the Board of Peace expanded its objectives following another pivotal moment. This shift was triggered by an event in September when Trump encountered technical difficulties during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, which he interpreted as a deliberate attempt to embarrass him.

It appears that this incident fueled Trump’s desire to dismantle the United Nations and establish an alternative institution, possibly with himself at the helm. Presently, Trump has disclosed the initial members of the Board of Peace, its expanded global agenda, and his intention to serve as its lifelong chairman.

The rationale behind Tony Blair’s involvement in this initiative remains unclear. Despite initial speculations, Blair, known for his involvement in conflict resolution, has maintained his ties to the project, even after the UK distanced itself due to Russia’s involvement.

At the launch event in Davos, Trump introduced the lineup of Supervillains comprising his new global entity, featuring leaders like Viktor Orban of Hungary and Javier Milei of Argentina, among others. Representatives from various countries, including those with restricted political rights and civil liberties, were present at the gathering.

Although Israel has agreed to join the coalition, Benjamin Netanyahu’s absence at the ceremony was attributed to concerns about potential arrest for war crimes in mainland Europe. Trump’s apparent aspiration to establish himself as the perpetual leader of this coalition hints at his ambition to wield long-lasting influence akin to a world ruler.
