A tragic incident unfolded in Kentucky on Tuesday evening as a UPS plane crash claimed the lives of 12 individuals, leaving nine others, including Angela ‘Angie’ Anderson, missing. Angela, a 45-year-old resident of Louisville, was last seen disposing of scrap metal at Grade A Auto Parts & Scrap Metal Recycling before the plane crashed and ignited in flames.

Angela’s partner, Donald Henderson, recounted that he had intended to accompany her but exhaustion from a long day’s work prevented him. Concerns mount as Angela remains unaccounted for since the incident. William Moreland, who shares two children with Angela, expressed his distress in seeking information about her whereabouts.

The crash site, which created a massive fireball and a half-mile-long blaze, affected multiple families with 16 individuals reported missing and 11 sustaining injuries. The aircraft, en route to Honolulu, managed a brief ascent before crashing beyond the airport perimeter, striking nearby establishments.

Governor Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency to facilitate swift response efforts. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is spearheading the investigation into the crash, focusing on the development of a significant fire in the left wing post-takeoff.

Preliminary findings suggest the plane achieved enough altitude to clear the airport fence before the tragic event occurred just outside Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg confirmed the death toll stands at 12, encompassing UPS crew members, ground workers, and a child, with additional individuals yet to be located. The community has been urged to keep those affected in their thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.
