Wetherspoon kicks off a January Sale today in 600 of its pubs, offering a pint of beer for as low as 99p. The discounted drinks lineup includes Worthington’s beer at 99p per pint, Coldwater Creek wine at £2.99 for a 250ml glass, Johnnie Walker Black Label (25ml with mixer) for £1.99, and Tanqueray gin (25ml with mixer) for £1.99.

Moreover, a variety of low-alcohol and alcohol-free beverages are on offer, such as Guinness 0.0, Corona Cero, Brewdog Punk AF, Stella Artois Alcohol Free, Erdinger Isotonic, Thatchers zero, Koppaberg Alcohol Free, and Gordons 0.0 pink gin, each priced at £1.69. Beck’s Blue and Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa are also available for 99p each. Discounts extend to Wetherspoon food items as well, with choices like an 11-inch Margherita pizza or chicken burger with chips for £4.99 with a soft drink, or £6.52 with an alcoholic beverage.

For those looking for a heartier option, customers can opt for six jacket potatoes at £4.99 with a soft drink, or £6.52 with an alcoholic drink, with fillings ranging from tuna mayo to roasted vegetables. Additional fillings or a side salad can be added for 99p. There are also new gourmet jacket potatoes priced at £6.49 with a soft drink and £8.02 with an alcoholic drink, including loaded spud with cheese, maple-cured bacon, garlic butter, and sour cream; Mexican spud with chilli bean non-carne, guacamole, and more; and smoky potato with pulled BBQ beef brisket and chipotle mayo.

Wetherspoon’s founder and chairman, Tim Martin, expressed excitement about the January Sale, stating that it aligns with the tradition of sales in January and offers a diverse selection of drinks and food to cater to various preferences, including a wide range of low and non-alcoholic options. The sale will be available at 600 pubs from January 2, extending to January 15, with pricing variations at the remaining 200 venues.
