Government minister Sir Chris Bryant has expressed that Prince Andrew did not merit the titles he has been stripped of. Sir Chris disclosed that during a single encounter with the disgraced Royal, Andrew insisted on using a helicopter for arrival, in contrast to the late Queen’s typical mode of transportation by car. This conduct, according to Sir Chris, indicated an abuse of position, with a majority of the public supporting the removal of Andrew’s titles for an extended period.

Additionally, Sir Chris proposed that Andrew should travel to the United States to address inquiries regarding his connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a significant development, Buckingham Palace announced that Andrew has agreed to vacate Royal Lodge due to ongoing controversies surrounding his association with Epstein. Henceforth, he will be recognized as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

Regarding the allegations from sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre, Sir Chris emphasized that they clearly demonstrate Andrew’s abuse of trust and exploitation of his privileged position. He urged Andrew, now considered an ordinary citizen, to comply with any requests for questioning, particularly from overseas jurisdictions. Despite Andrew’s denial of the accusations, the Palace acknowledged “serious lapses of judgment” and confirmed the transition to alternative private accommodation following the surrender of his lease on Royal Lodge.
