Two Carabao Cup matches face potential chaos due to significant delays that could disrupt fans’ travel to Wednesday’s games. Five matches are slated for the evening, featuring several Premier League teams.

Manchester City will journey to Swansea, Arsenal will host Brighton at the Emirates Stadium, Liverpool will welcome Crystal Palace, Wolves will face Chelsea at Molineux, and Newcastle will take on Tottenham Hotspur at St James’ Park.

While most games are expected to proceed smoothly, some may experience delays on roads and rail networks. Brighton fans were advised to seek alternative routes to North London following a train incident.

Brighton released a statement cautioning fans about travel conditions to the Emirates Stadium. Additionally, supporters heading to Man City’s match with Swansea may encounter disruptions due to a serious collision on the main route to the stadium.

In other Carabao Cup news, Brentford, Fulham, and Cardiff City secured spots in the fifth round. The draw for the next round will occur once all games are completed.

Newcastle clinched the title last season by defeating Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley Stadium. The upcoming fifth round is scheduled for the week starting December 15, with semi-finals in January and February next year.

To enhance your football experience, Sky has discounted its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle, offering savings and over 1,400 live matches, including at least 215 live Premier League games next season.
