Professional dancer Dianne Buswell recently took a stand against online trolls who criticized her dancing while pregnant. In a defiant move, she shared a video on her Instagram page showcasing her dance moves and even did a cartwheel, accompanied by a message stating, “For all those people saying they can’t watch a pregnant girl dance! I just can’t help it when I hear the beat.”
Repeating her stance in the caption, Buswell emphasized, “I just can’t help it when I hear the beat,” accompanied by a pregnant woman emoji. Support poured in from friends and fans, with fellow Strictly star Kai Widdrington commenting, “Tell ’em di,” and It Takes Two host Fleur East sharing a series of clapping hands emojis.
One fan expressed admiration, stating, “I looove this! Addressing rumors surrounding her dance partner Stefan Dennis’ early exit from the program, Buswell refuted claims of a deliberate setup due to her pregnancy. Stefan had to withdraw from the competition after tearing a muscle in his calf. However, online critics speculated that the exit was preplanned due to Buswell’s pregnancy.
Buswell, expecting her first child with former Strictly contestant Joe Sugg, responded to a viewer’s comment suggesting the exit was planned for her safety.
