Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana experienced a tragic event in 2016 when Tana suffered a miscarriage at five months into her pregnancy with their son, Rocky. Tana shared that despite Rocky having a strong heartbeat, he was too fragile to survive.

Reflecting on the devastating loss, Gordon emphasized the importance of communication in their relationship during an interview on the High Performance podcast. He expressed the emotional turmoil of witnessing the loss of their baby and the profound impact it had on their bond.

The couple, who have been together for nearly thirty years, reminisced about their early days when they were close friends facing financial struggles. Gordon recalled a moment when he had to ask Tana’s father for a loan to purchase a flat. To his surprise, Tana’s father suggested that Gordon should sell his Porsche before providing the loan, which Gordon eventually did.

Years later, Gordon tracked down the same Porsche he had sold and added it to his growing collection of luxury cars, which now includes eight Ferraris, an Aston Martin, and a couple of McLarens. Reacquiring the vehicle brought him a sense of satisfaction.

Gordon attributed his passion for exuberant cars to his childhood experiences, where his father would drop him off at school in a rundown Vauxhall Viva. Reflecting on his journey from those humble beginnings, Gordon acknowledged the contrast between his past and present car collections, recognizing the fruits of his hard work.
