Lenovo has introduced a new competitor to challenge Apple’s iPad dominance in the tablet market with the launch of the Tab Plus Gen 2. This latest device features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision visuals, delivering a high-quality viewing experience.

One of the standout features of the Tab Plus Gen 2 is its unique design, which includes a large circular speaker powered by JBL technology. This speaker not only enhances audio quality for entertainment purposes but can also function as a Bluetooth speaker, complete with Dolby Atmos support for an immersive sound experience.

In terms of convenience, the tablet comes equipped with a built-in kickstand that offers versatility in viewing angles, including landscape and portrait modes. The kickstand can also serve as a carry handle for improved portability.

Under the hood, the Tab Plus Gen 2 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and boasts a substantial 10,200mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. It also offers 128GB of storage, expandable via an SD Card for additional space.

For those interested in purchasing the Tab Plus Gen 2, it is available from Lenovo for £369, positioning it as a more affordable option compared to Apple’s iPad, which starts at £429 for the base model and goes up to £749 for the Air model.
