A devoted fan of tennis, known for supporting Emma Raducanu, was ejected from the Australian Open for disruptive behavior. James Bray gained attention when Raducanu acknowledged him post-match for his enthusiastic support. Wearing an ‘Australia’ tank top, Bray affectionately referred to Raducanu as ‘Raddo’ during her match. However, his behavior during another match led to his removal from the venue after being deemed too rowdy.
Sharing the incident on social media, Bray revealed being asked to leave the event for 24 hours and receiving a fine of $700. Despite the situation, he sarcastically thanked the authorities for kicking him out as a loyal fan. Despite feeling peculiar about the situation, Bray expressed amusement at the whole experience.
Bray explained that he was cheering respectfully for the players, but security intervened, leading to his eviction. Tennis Australia confirmed that Bray had received multiple warnings before his removal. Victoria Police reported several ejections for disruptive behavior during the event, emphasizing the overall good conduct of the attendees.
