In Ohio, a tragic incident unfolded as a man fatally shot two children and another man before taking his own life, as reported by the police. Ryan Eagon, 42, allegedly committed the heinous act by targeting his wife’s seven-month-old baby, her seven-year-old son, and the child’s father. This distressing event occurred following the revelation that Eagon’s wife intended to leave their residence due to ongoing domestic problems, according to the Tiffin Police Department.

The distressing situation unfolded on Huss Street in Tiffin, where officers responded to reports of gunshots just before 6:30 pm on Wednesday. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered four individuals with gunshot wounds and a visibly traumatized but physically unharmed woman at the scene. The authorities are treating the incident as a murder-suicide.

The father of the seven-year-old boy, Dustin Willey, and the woman were in the process of moving belongings from the house, believing Eagon was away for work. As the children were outside near a vehicle, a confrontation ensued when Eagon confronted Willey and ultimately fired multiple shots, resulting in tragic consequences. The mother, witnessing the horrific events, called 911 and brought the lifeless children back into the house.

Willey and the seven-year-old boy succumbed to their injuries at Tiffin Mercy Hospital, with Eagon and the baby pronounced dead at the scene. Describing Willey as a dedicated father, Kelly Gallagher, Willey’s former employer, emphasized his commitment to his son, highlighting his exemplary parenting.

In response to the shocking incident, Police Chief David Pauly urged the community to support the victims’ families and the emergency responders grappling with the emotional aftermath. Autopsies are pending, and investigations are ongoing, as authorities work to unravel the tragic events that unfolded on that fateful day in Tiffin.
