Amazon has started its latest Prime Day sale by offering discounts of up to 60% on Apple TV, Paramount+, and MGM+ subscriptions. The sale, which began on June 23, features subscription prices starting at £2.99 for several popular streaming platforms.
As part of the sale, customers can get an Apple TV subscription for £4.99 per month, reduced from the regular price of £9.99. This discounted rate will be valid for two months before reverting to the standard £9.99 monthly fee.
Similarly, MGM+, which includes content like “Project Hail Mary,” is now available for £2.99 for two months, down from £5.99. Paramount+ subscriptions are also discounted to £2.99 for one month, reduced from £7.99. These deals will be available until July 2 as Amazon launches its Prime Day 2026 sale.
During the period of June 23-26, Prime members and users on a Prime 30-day free trial can access discounts on thousands of items. Additionally, Prime Video is offering free trials for Lionsgate+, Studiocanal Presents, and Crunchyroll.
It is important to note that both the discounted streaming subscriptions and free trials will automatically transition to paid subscriptions at the end of the promotional period. Subscribers should remember to cancel before the end of the discounted or free trial period to avoid being charged the standard rate.
In a separate offer, Sky is providing free access to Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+ for customers signing up for the £24 Ultimate TV bundle. This package also includes approximately 135 channels, including Sky Atlantic.
For Apple TV subscribers, the platform offers acclaimed titles such as “Widow’s Bay” with a high Rotten Tomatoes score of 98%. New releases like the second season of “Sugar,” led by Colin Farrell, are also available for streaming. Other popular series like Ted Lasso, Severance, and Slow Horses can be accessed, with a seven-day free trial option for direct sign-ups.
MGM+ offers hit titles like “Project Hail Mary” and series such as Outlander and the James Bond collection. On Paramount+, viewers can enjoy series like “The Agency” starring Michael Fassbender and the “Dutton Ranch” spin-off from Yellowstone. These shows are part of the £2.99 deal on the Paramount+ platform.
