Canadian actor and comedian Jim Carrey has recently gotten married to Min Ah, his partner whom he introduced to the public earlier this year. During the César Film Awards in Paris, France, where Carrey was receiving an honor, he publicly referred to Min Ah as his “sublime companion,” expressing his love for her and calling her an angel in French.
Known for his efforts to keep his personal life private, Carrey, 64, has revealed very little about his enigmatic new wife. Reports from Hello! magazine indicate that Min Ah is 32 years old, precisely half his age. Images published by Just Jared suggest that the couple has been in a relationship for several years, as they were spotted leaving a charity event together in 2022.
The wedding ceremony between Min and Carrey took place in a small private gathering in Los Angeles, as reported by TMZ. Carrey’s representative confirmed to CBC News that the actor is now married but declined to provide further details.
This marks Carrey’s third marriage. His first marriage was with Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1993, resulting in one daughter, Jane Erin Carrey, who attended the César Film Awards alongside Min and Carrey, accompanied by Carrey’s grandson, Jackson. Carrey subsequently married his co-star Lauren Holly from “Dumb and Dumber” in 1996, but the marriage ended in divorce less than a year later.
Carrey also had a relationship with Renee Zellweger after starring together in “Me, Myself, and Irene” in 1999, which ended in 2000. In his book “Memoirs and Misinformation,” published 20 years later, Carrey referred to Zellweger as his “last great love.” Additionally, he was in a long-term relationship with American actor and model Jenny McCarthy from 2005 to 2010, although they never married.
