Trump imposed sanctions on Russia’s top two oil companies in an effort to push Moscow into resolving issues with Ukraine. Despite recent friendly communication between Trump and Putin, the US President expressed disappointment over the lack of significant progress.
In response to the sanctions, Putin delivered a cautionary message at the Russian Geographical Society in Moscow, emphasizing the importance of dialogue over conflict. He emphasized that maintaining communication is crucial to avoid confrontation or war, stating that Russia has always supported ongoing dialogue.
