A driver involved in a tragic car crash with Anthony Joshua’s team members has made a court appearance in Nigeria. The accident led to the death of Joshua’s personal trainer and strength coach, while the former heavyweight champion survived with injuries. The driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, faced charges of causing death by dangerous driving and reckless driving. The case was adjourned to March 13 as prosecutors requested more time to gather evidence. Kayode, who was granted bail, is yet to enter a plea and also faces charges for driving without due care and a valid license. Joshua, who narrowly escaped death, expressed gratitude for the support received during his recovery. He mourned the loss of his friends and emphasized their significant role in his life. Joshua vowed to preserve their legacy and dreams, stating his commitment to continuing their work.
